Creemore, Stayner, Nottawa and Wasaga Beach

Clearview Community Church is ready to deploy 75,000 chocolate eggs at four Easter events in the area on Saturday, March 30, all of which begin at 10 a.m. sharp.

The church is supporting the Easter Bunny as she prepares to make stops in Stayner (meet at the pavilion at Centennial Park), Nottawa (behind the church at 20 Batteaux Rd.), Wasaga Beach (800 Sunnidale Road) and Creemore.

The Creemore event will be held at Creemore Village Green, in partnership with Creemore BIA. This year, Creemore Village Green manager Jeremy Mantesso said organizers will create zones for different age groups in an attempt to ensure fairness.

In addition to the chocolate eggs packed in colourful plastic eggs, some eggs will contain coupons that can be redeemed that day for prizes from BIA businesses. Participants are asked to bring their own baskets.

Clearview Community Church is asking that participants return the plastic eggs after the hunt so they can be reused next year. Organizers thank Collingwood Walmart for providing a discount on the chocolate eggs.
