Creemore Coyotes ended the season in fourth place having been ousted from the Ontario Elite Hockey League (OEHL) semi-finals by the Minto 81’s with a 7-1 victory on March 16.

The game was played in front of a record audience gathered at Creemore arena. Creemore’s lone goal went to JD Falconer in the first period.

“Although the outcome may not have been what you had hoped for, remember that reaching the semi- finals is an incredible achievement that showcases your talent, hard work, and dedication to the sport,” wrote fan and sponsor Patrick Charlebois of Home Hardware in a letter to the team. “Your journey to this point has been nothing short of inspiring, and the way you have represented your team and community with grace and sportsmanship is a testament to your character.”

The Creemore Coyotes went out with a 20-13-0 record and 40 points.

Palmerston will face the defending champions, the Tavistock Royals, in the OEHL Cup Championship beginning Saturday, March 23.
