Thomson, Marie Jeanne Gisele (Gigi)

THOMSON, Marie Jeanne Gisele (Gigi) – beloved mother of Suzanne and Pierre, loving grandmother of Lucy, loving former wife of John Thomson, loving mother-in-law of Sally Ransen, died in the arms of Lucy and Suzanne as they all breathed together, moving in rhythm with her sacred transition from life to death on April 15, 2024. Gigi was born on May 15, 1932 to Edwidge and Patrick Wafer in Newport, Quebec and her siblings were Leo, Georgette, Normand, and Normande. Her legacy for all who loved her was her gentleness, kindness, and deep abiding love. St. Francis of Assisi was her constant companion on this life walk where she always returned to a place where all are loved and cared for. Gigi wished for a celebration of life.
