Collingwood Agricultural Society recognizes GNE volunteers
Chris Ferguson is the youngest person to have the honour of receiving a Life Membership Award from the Collingwood Agricultural Society. The presentation was made during the GNE’s Friday night truck pulling competition. Presenting the award, from right, is president Clark Irvine, vice president Maxine Coutts-Reid, junior ambassador Nolan Martin-Mills and senior ambassador Isabella Cullen.
During the opening ceremonies of the Great Northern Exhibition on Sept. 20, Garry Milne received the Meritorious Award for his long- time dedication and significant contributions to the Collingwood Agricultural Society. The award was presented by Vince Brennan, Executive Director of the Ontario Association of Agricultural Societies.
Felicity Kinnear was doubly honoured receiving both a Life Membership Award from the Collingwood Agricultural Society, and recognition from the Ontario Association of Agricultural Societies for her many contributions and long- time involvement with the society. Vince Brennan, Executive of the Ontario Association of Agricultural Societies presented the award.
