Mansfield WI supports Honeywood arena upgrades

Mansfield Women’s Institute presented the Township of Mulmur with a $1,000 donation on Oct. 2 in support of repairs to the ice pad and coolant system at the North Dufferin Community Centre in Honeywood. The Mansfield W.I., founded in 1946, has long been a vibrant part of the community. Although the group now has only five members, they proudly refer to themselves as “small but mighty.”

Last May, thanks to the support from the community, these dedicated women held a successful two-day yard sale, Once again, they lived up to their motto: “For Home and Country.”
