From the Hack: Curling continues to grow in popularity in our ladies league. Seeing young talent emerge is a great sign for the sports future.

A special thanks to our youthful curlers, Chantelle, who stepped up to skip this week, and our other young curlers are Brooklyn, Grace, Abbey, Ashley, Jaz, and Katie.

They have brought a fresh energy and creativity to our games.

From the Hack: Monday had Team Coulter challenging the league leaders. It was a close game, with Team Loranger holding on for the win. Team Lambert successfully beat Team Gallaugher.

On Wednesday, Team Coulter fell behind Team Gallaugher by eight points, in the first three ends. Ron, Karen, Gail and Jim knew they had to pull up their curling socks. And they did, scoring the next nine points to take the lead after six ends! Tied at nine coming home and Team Coulter has the hammer – exciting times! Team Coulter scores in the eighth for the win. This could go down on record as the “comeback of the year.” Good curling everyone!
