3-on-3 hockey supports food bank

 In Sports

Both Siskins and Coyotes took advantage of coincidental breaks in their schedules to put on an entertaining three-on-three game where a total of 36 goals were scored in 45 minutes.

The true winner was St. Luke’s Community Food Bank. A Honda Ridgeline (Tom’s toy truck) was filled with non-perishable groceries and $500 in cash was collected as well. Both teams wish to thank those fans that came out to support this worth while endeavour. Both Tom Macham and Siskins president and director of hockey operations Richard Gauthier want to make this an annual event. The plan is to host next year’s game in Stayner.
