BERNIER, Gene Francis “Frank” of New Lowell, ON, passed away peacefully at Hospice Simcoe in Barrie on Thursday, January 9, 2025 in his 74th year.
Proud member of the Canadian Armed Forces for 37 years.
Beloved husband of Davida “Dee”. Loving father of Grace Johnson (Bruce) and Lori Richardson (Albert). Cherished grandfather of Valerie (Garrett), William (Alicia), Samantha (Dean), Jessica, Alex and Katie. Loved great-grandfather of Anna. Dear brother of Chris, Mike and Bernice. Predeceased by his parents Gene and Grace and siblings Peter, Fred and Mary.
Frank will be sadly missed and forever remembered by his many relatives and friends.
At Frank’s and the family’s request, cremation has taken place. Friends may pay their respects, and visit with the family at the STEVEN R. BRIDGE FUNERAL HOME, 207 Mill Street Angus, ON, on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 from 1 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 2 p.m.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Canada would be appreciated by the family.
