Registration is open for Clearview’s Three-on-Three Youth Hockey Tournament from April 4-6. The tournament, which will have eight divisions and guarantees at least three games, is open to youth U9 to U16 with $7,000 in prizes, trophies and draws.

“Clearview welcomes competitive and recreational players back for the fourth year of our three-on-three tournament,” said Mayor Doug Measures. “Every team is welcome, regardless of their level, to enjoy the thrill of the game with fast-paced, community-based hockey.”

New this year, to make teams more competitive and fun for all players, is a player rating system. Each team is allowed a maximum of 100 points, based on the level played in the last winter season.

Admission to watch the tournament is free all weekend long with a vendor market Saturday and Sunday at the Stayner Community Centre. Concessions at the Stayner Arena will be run by the Clearview Youth Centre, open for the duration of the tournament with the proceeds supporting youth centre programming.

Registration is on a first-come, first- paid basis with a maximum of six teams per division. Register a team for $700 before registration closes on March 17. All funds will be going towards recreation programming in Clearview Township. For more information or to register, visit www.discoverclearview. ca/3on3.
