The Dufferin Arts Council has a bursary and scholarship up for grabs.
The 2025 Reed T. Cooper Bursary for mid-career artists – There will be two $3,000 bursaries available in 2025. The Reed T. Cooper bursary is open to any mid-career artist who resides in the Headwaters Region (Dufferin, Caledon, and Erin) and who is a member of the Dufferin Arts Council. For the purposes of this bursary, a mid-career artist speaks to those who have already established a sizable audience, a consistent body of work and defining style, and have been working as a professional artist for at least five years. Artists who have been previously awarded are welcome to apply again after five years. Applications will be accepted between June 1 and Sept. 30.
