NCPS student receives Character Recognition Award

NCPS Grade 8 student Norah Huizinga is the recipient of a Character Recognition Award from the Simcoe County District School Board (SCDSB). She was presented the award at the SCDSB Education Centre in Midhurst on May 29 during a ceremony honouring students, staff and volunteers for their exemplary demonstration of SCDSB character attributes.

“Norah is passionate about environmental issues and has been a member of the NCPS Green Team since it began. She volunteers to oversee our recycling and waste management. She has worked hard to educate her peers on proper waste management and the importance of protecting the environment. We are lucky to have Norah on our Green Team and admire her advocacy for the planet.”
