The Creemore Terry Fox Run

The Creemore Terry Fox Run will take place at Creemore Village Green on Sunday, Sept. 14.

People of all ages and abilities are invited to participate by biking, running, walking, rollerblading or using a mobility device. Volunteers are also needed to support participants by marshalling, handing out water and offering encouragement.

The event is a fundraiser for the Terry Fox Foundation and community members are encouraged to donate,

sponsor a participant, purchase a T-shirt, and spread the word.

Last year’s event raised $7,000, a 45-year fundraising record for the local event, and this year’s goal is $8,700.

The event begins at 10 a.m. at Creemore Village Green, 181 Mill St. The posted routes are one, three, five, and 10 kilometres long.
