Big Trouble in Creemore

Vivek Bhatia was manning his Big Trouble Hot Sauce booth the first day, and a rainy one, of the Creemore Farmers’ Market on May 23. The weather may have kept some away, but the enthusiasm provided by the vendors was right up there with a warm sunny day. Using scotch bonnet as a base for all his sauces, they all have fruit in them such as apple, pineapple, pear and mango. His Tornado sauce is described as a whirlwind of flavour. His Honey Quake sauce is more fruit-forward and the third on offer was Tsunami, which has a taste of maple syrup.
