Poem: Excuse my CUSMA musings

by Tim Armour | Jul 3, 2026 | Opinion

Don’t rush into a CUSMA deal. Let’s not be in a panic
To lash onto the railings of the U.S.S. Titanic.

If banking Yankee dollars gets a gun shoved down my gullet,
I’d answer Thanks but No Thanks then. I’d rather bite the bullet.

We dare to care about ourselves, protect our separate culture.
An eagle’s really nothing but a feather headed vulture.

Though Trump may claim that wisdom comes along with temples graying
An ancient ass is still an ass. He just can’t help his braying.
