Registration is open for the 2026 Dufferin Farm Tour. Spend a day exploring five working farms across Dufferin County.
Meet local farm families, experience modern agriculture up close, see livestock and equipment, enjoy demonstrations, and discover the people, innovation and passion behind the food we enjoy every day.
This year’s tour features:
• A fifth-generation family farm with grain handling and storage;
• A modern Holstein dairy operation;
• A picturesque Christmas tree and maple syrup farm;
• A lavender and sunflower farm producing natural skincare products;
• A family farm raising sustainable beef, lamb and chicken.
The self-guided tour is between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., on Oct. 3, rain or shine, and is free with a donation to local food banks. There will be additional activities at each farm, including the opportunity to purchase fresh produce, so bring cash and a cooler.
Visit www.dufferinfarmtour.com to sign up for tour updates.
The tour passport is available on the website or pick one up in person at Dufferin County Museum and Archives.
