HeArt of Red: Live Painting

My Friend’s House is proud to announce the return of its signature fundraising event, HeArt of Red: Live Painting Experience, on Thursday, Oct. 1, at Osler Bluff Ski Club.

Now in its third year, HeArt of Red returns with a refreshed concept that brings creativity and community together in support of women and children facing gender-based violence and abuse.

This year’s artist theme, home, connects each brushstroke to the heart of the organization’s work: helping women and children find safety, belonging, and a place to feel at home again.

Set against the backdrop of Osler Bluff Ski Club, guests will witness creativity in motion as talented artists transform blank canvases into powerful works of art throughout the evening.

More than an art event, HeArt of Red is a call to action, raising critical funds and awareness for My Friend’s House and helping ensure women have access to safety, support, healing, and a path forward.

Ten artists will take part in two live painting rounds, each lasting 30 minutes. As artwork comes to life in real time, attendees will be invited to cast their votes and help determine which artists advance to the final round. At the end of the first two rounds, the top two artists from each round will compete in one final live painting session. Artwork created during the first two rounds will be available through a silent auction, while the final four pieces will be showcased in a live auction at the end of the night.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets cost $150 (including a $100 tax receipt) and are available at www.myfriendshouse.ca.
