Government review underway

 In News

Clearview Township has launched a survey to ask residents how they would like to see council composed.
Council has approved a plan to review the size and structure of local government in advance of the next election.
Options include reducing the number of wards from seven to five, doing away with wards and voting for a determined number of council members at-large, or maintaining the status quo. Council completed a ward boundary review in 2013. During the last review council decided to stick with seven wards, plus a mayor and deputy mayor, with some changes to the ward boundaries.
The survey and an educational video can be found at www.clearview.ca/WBR.
