Clearview hires new treasurer

Kelly McDonald will take over the role of Director of Finance/Treasurer for the Township of Clearview.
A 13-year employee of the municipality, McDonald is a Chartered Professional Accountant, and Certified General Accountant.
She has been Deputy-Treasurer since 2011. She also served as a financial analyst for four years. Mayor Doug Measures said he is pleased that McDonald accepted the position and looks forward to seeing her “work ethic, dedication to Clearview Township and ability to effectively communicate with both staff and residents” continue to enhance the Finance and Information Services Department.
McDonald will be responsible for the financial well-being of the township through effective planning, administration, maintenance and operation of the Finance and Information Services Department. Recruitment for the deputy-treasurer position will be discussed in the coming weeks.
