Collect five cards, exchange for ice cream

 In Events

Pictured here is Kieron Rupke (one of the circulation clerks at the Clearview Public Library) holding the reward-winning hand of five cards to be collected from those celebrating special anniversaries this weekend, in and around the Creemore Farmers’ Market.

You too can make the walking trip to pick-up cards at 1) the Creemore Horticultural Society’s Booth – 100 years, 2) Creemore Farmers’ Market Booth – 25 years, 3) Creemore branch of the Clearview Public Library – 30 years, 4) Creemore Log Cabin – 10 years of reconstruction and 5) the Smallest Jail in North America – 50 years of refurbishment and then circle back to Station on the Green – 20 years, to trade your five cards for a celebration treat of a jumbo scoop of Chapman’s ice cream.

The day officially starts at 8:30 a.m. with the cake- cutting taking place at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow (Saturday, Sept. 3).

See you at the library when you come to collect Card #3. (No skill testing question will be asked.)
