Creemore Cardinals off to a strong start with two wins

On Sunday, the Creemore 11U Selects began their season with a double-header on the road in Thornhill. The Creemore Cardinals opened the scoring in the first inning and never looked back eventually winning the first game 14-5 utilizing a balanced attack with ten different players scoring. Creemore was aided with some strong pitching by Brayden Foulds and Reece Fuller who combined to strike out 11 over four innings.

In the second game Creemore got out to another early lead after scoring four in the first inning. Keenan Reynolds and Drew Hamilton led the offense with multi-hit games and Hayden Goodfellow-Oster closed out the win on the mound.

The Cardinals continue their season on the road in Barrie this Sunday before taking on the Newmarket Hawks at Gowan Park on June 5.
