Come out to help improve the Mad River! We will be planting native trees and shrubs to shade the river and improve wildlife habitat near Avening.
Individuals, families and community groups are welcome!

What to expect

• An orientation and tree planting tutorial
• This event will take place rain or shine but will be rescheduled if there is extreme weather.

Remember to Bring

• Closed toed shoes/rubber boots (SPRING IS MUDDY!)
• Dress for the weather (jacket, rain coat, hat, etc)
• Sunscreen/bug spray
• Water & snack
• Gardening gloves if you have them (extras are available)
