A poignant and impactful Flag Raising Event dedicated to raising awareness about the critical issue of overdose. This event, hosted by Brad’s Place Addiction Treatment of Southern Georgian Bay, in collaboration with the Township of Clearview, aims to honour those lost to overdose and to support individuals and families affected by substance use.
Come together as a community at the Emergency Hub & Fire Administration Centre for a ceremony that will include a symbolic flag raising, speeches from local leaders and advocates, and a moment of silence to remember those who have been impacted by overdose. The event will also feature information booths providing resources on addiction treatment, prevention, and support services available in the area.
Following the ceremony, attendees are invited to a small reception in the Meeting Hall, where they can connect with others, share stories, and access further resources and support. This event is an opportunity for the community to stand in solidarity, raise awareness, and promote a message of hope and healing.
