Foodland truck tour serves free lunch

While out on its Harvest 2021 Tour, the new Foodland Food Truck will be stopping at the Creemore store Saturday serving a free lunch while accepting donations for the Clearview Stayner Food Bank.
Sim Spry said Creemore has been chosen as a stop for this new Foodland initiative, and hopes the truck may make a repeat visit at future community events.
From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the truck will be serving store made hamburgers and sausage on a bun, with roasted garlic and Dijon potato salad, plus snacks and beverages.
Those wishing to make a donation to the food bank will be able to pay by tap in increments of $1, $5 or $10.
Donations of food are not being accepted on Saturday.
