Gardens improve food security

 In Letters, Opinion

Editor:
Now, more than ever, you need to be thinking of food security. Here is another one of my letters urging you to have a vegetable garden. Or you can have a container garden.
It is too soon of course to start sowing seeds but you can get ready.
If you still shop for groceries buy a few packages of seeds. You can also order seeds over the internet. There are many seed companies. I use William Dam Seeds.
You don’t need a big garden to get started. And it is probably better not to be too ambitious.
You will be glad you made the effort.
Helen Blackburn,
Creemore.
