Green leader speaks at candidate rally

Green Party of Ontario leader Mike Schreiner will be making a local appearance Sept. 13 in support of Simcoe-Grey federal Green Party candidate Sherri Jackson.
“Mike Schreiner is so inspirational. He’s representing his constituents in Guelph with such positivity, common sense and compassion.  He’s demonstrating that a little Green in government goes a long way. I am thrilled to have his support for our campaign here in Simcoe-Grey. We’re really honoured to have him here. He’s walking the talk – showing how Greens do politics differently,” said Jackson.
Schreiner, a past Simcoe Grey Green candidate, will be speaking, along with Jackson, at a rally and fundraiser at Avening Hall on Friday, Sept. 13, beginning at 6:30 p.m. There will be time for Q&A and mingling. Light refreshments will be served.
