Lions sponsor free public skating

 In Community

Public skating is back at Clearview’s two arenas and the Stayner Lions Club sponsorship is ensuring it continues to be free of charge.
Public skating is open at the Stayner Arena from 4:30 p.m. to 5:50 p.m. on Saturdays, and at the Creemore Arena from noon to 1:20 p.m. on Sundays.
Participants 18 and older must show proof of vaccine, spectators over 12 must show proof of vaccine (children under 12 should be accompanied by an adult). Everyone must sign in and complete health screening when entering facilities.
Social distancing must be observed before, during and after the activity.
Dressing rooms will be open at the arena but participants are encouraged to arrive dressed for the session and leave valuables at home.
Masks/face coverings are not required while actively participating in the activity but are required while entering and exiting the program space and moving throughout the recreation facility. Face covers must be worn in lobby and change rooms.
