Market showcases range of area vendors

Vendors will be at Avening Hall Saturday for the Halfway to the Handmade Holiday Market.

Organizer Anna Pigden said new vendors include shortbread by Motherbutter, of Creemore, metal designs by MD Metalworx of Stayner, woodworking by Built by Elliot of Alliston, soy candles by Simply Jarring, fine concrete by Fletcher’s Creek Concrete of Brampton.

Returning Vendors include woodworking by Masson Wood Co. of Terra Nova, Potter Jackie Warmelink of Mulmur, Gemstone jewelry by Georgian Jewelry Creations, Textiles by Stuff from the Second Line, Lisle (all proceeds donated to local food banks), Miniature paintings by Ingrid Hunt of Avening, and Handtooled leather by Carvergirl Leather Co. of Barrie.

Artist collectives will also be represented: North of 89 Art Group and Creemore-based Three of Cups Creative.

The Creemore Coyotes men’s hockey team will be hosting a barbecue to raise funds for their team, as well as selling seasons passes for their home games.

The sale runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 25.
