North Dufferin Baseball returns to the field July 11

 In Sports

After the cancelled baseball season last year, teams in the North Dufferin Baseball League are set to take to the diamonds this weekend.
Junior division play with a six-team loop will start their season first with opening games on Sunday. The eleven team senior division will start on July 17.
Both divisions will play ten games in the regular season with playoffs in late August. The juniors will play a home and home series while the seniors will meet each team once.
The Ivy Rangers requested a leave of absence for the year reducing the senior field to eleven teams. Teams include Barrie, Bolton Brewers, Bolton Dodgers, Clarksburg, Clearview, Creemore, Ivy Leafs, Lisle, Mansfield, Midland, and New Lowell.
The junior loop expanded this year with entries from Caledon, Georgina, Orangeville and Midland joining Creemore and Mansfield. The Orangeville Rockies, Orillia Royals and Ivy Blues have taken a leave of absence.
The complete season schedule and game results can be found at www.ndbl.ca.
