Rachfalowski, Anna

 In Obituaries

Rachfalowski, Anna (nee Lipski), was born in eastern Poland on October 18th, 1929 to Janek and Stanislawa, and passed away on September 11, 2020. Mother of Henry (Joanne) and Irene, loving Babcia to Daniel, Stefanie, Robert and David, she was predeceased by her husband Anthony and siblings Mary, Stan, Michael and John. Survived by sister Stella, brother Walter (Mary), sister Jeanette (Norbert) and sister-in-law Mary (wife of John), she will be very missed by her many nieces and nephews. Following the war, Anna came to Canada, a country she adored, to start a new life, eventually settling in Kitchener. Later, she and her family moved to Wasaga Beach where they ran a small business for many years. She was finally able to retire to her “favourite place in the world”, a farm west of Creemore, where she could indulge her many interests and passions. She was an incredible seamstress, gardener, mushroom-picker and cook, but it was her family and the eclectic assortment of pets and animals on the farm that brought her the greatest pleasure. Cremation has taken place. It was never her wish to have a funeral or any sort of gathering. When you think of her, please do so with a smile and a kind thought, and please support the Alzheimer Society of Canada through your donations. Messages of condolence may be forwarded to the family through adamsfuneralhome.ca
