Rigney, James Edward passed away peacefully on Tuesday September 7, 2021, at the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital in his 85th year. Jim, beloved husband of the late Georgina (2019) will be deeply missed by his children Michael (Julie), Martin (Janice), Monte (Kim) and Roxanne (Doug) Young; forever cherished by his grandchildren Megan (Trevor), Matthew, Kaitlyn, Braeden (Allison), Austin (Jodie), Colin (Keanna), Jocelyn (Nick), Lindsay, Mackenzie, Wilson and Everett. He will be remembered by his brothers Ken and Walter and their families and his dear friend Elsie Longson. He was predeceased by his brother Maurice and sister Dorothy. As per his wishes cremation has taken place. A private graveside service will be held. Family and friends are invited to a come and go celebration of Jim’s life on Saturday September 11, 2021, at the family farm 9127 17/18 Sideroad, Singhampton between 1-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations to the Singhampton Community Center would be appreciated by the family.
