Story Book Trail opens in Stayner

A ribbon cutting ceremony was held June 18 to commemorate the opening of the Story Book Trail at Clearview Meadows Elementary School. A joint effort between the school and Clearview Township’s Parks, Culture & Recreation Department, the Story Book Trail will link with the 5.5 km EcoPark Trail loop that connects Clearview Meadows, Stayner Collegiate Institute (SCI), local neighbourhoods and downtown Stayner. Funding provided by Clearview Meadows Elementary School Parent Council, Clearview Township and TD Bank, and a pollinator garden created by SCI’s green energy students , has contributed to this community project.
