Since opening in 1991, My Friend\u2019s House has helped thousands of women get the safety and support they need to rebuild their lives. My Friend\u2019s House supports some 600 women and their children each year through a Shelter Program as well as Outreach, Transition and Children\u2019s Programs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are pleased to support My Friend\u2019s House and the great work it is doing to support abused women and their children within our community,\u201d said David Trafford, 100 Men Who Care Southern Georgian Bay leadership team member.<\/p>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 3\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>Funding support from 100 Men Who Care Southern Georgian Bay will go directly to individual and group programming for children, youth and their mothers both residing in the shelter and living in community. My Friend\u2019s House children\u2019s programming aims to create opportunities for the family to build resilience and heal from the trauma they have suffered.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are greatly appreciative of the support through 100 Men Who Care Southern Georgian Bay.
