Dufferin County is inviting community members to help shape the future of sustainable waste management as it continues to update its long-term waste management strategy.<\/p>\n
The county received many comments from residents and program users through its fall consultations and residents can now complete the long-term waste management strategy spring survey and attend an open house to share feedback and discuss identified project options.<\/p>\n
The county is seeking input on 10 potential options for the future of waste management in the community.<\/p>\n
Participants can complete the survey until May 17 at joinindufferin.com<\/a> or contact the county\u2019s waste services division at\u00a0wastestrategy@dufferincounty.ca<\/a>\u00a0or call 519-941-2816 ext. 2620 for a paper copy of the survey.<\/p>\n The county is hosting two open houses on May 14; one being held\u00a0at Shelburne Public Library from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.; and the other at Alder Recreation Centre in Orangeville from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Dufferin County is inviting community members to help shape the future of sustainable waste management as it continues to update its long-term waste management strategy.
