White, Cathy “BOO” passed away peacefully at RVH on June 8, 2021 in her 65th year leaving behind her husband and best friend for 50 years Bazel Jake “BOOBAN,” her sister Shirley Taylor, brothers Jim, Dave and Dan as well as many nieces and nephews who she stayed close with – especially their children, many good friends in the U.S. and Jamaica. Her second family Dion, Lana and grandson John in NL, and she had many great friends in NL. Her special friends Jane Maxwell, The Park Family, Kata Lasco, Rellie, Shelly and Mark Slaney, who was like a son. Everybody she touched turned into a friend, the phone calls were unbelievable. Cathy had many joys: yoga, lobsters, biking, walking, restaurants, hotels, lodges up north, snowshoeing, Chinese food, camping, cooking, gardening and travelling. She “LOVED PLAYING CARDS” and her cabin in the forest, by the creek with candles going. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to RVH Cancer Unit or the Georgian Triangle Human Society. She will be sure missed but never forgotten.
