Youth centre takes programs ‘on the road’

The Clearview Youth Centre is going “On the Road” offering drop-in sports and recreation programming at community parks in Stayner, Creemore and New Lowell.
A variety of outdoor activities will be offered at the following locations:
Mondays from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Ives Park in Stayner;
Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to noon at Gowan Memorial Park in Creemore;
Wednesdays from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at New Lowell’s Recreation Park.
All programs are free for youth 10-18 years old.
In addition, the EcoPark Trailblazers program at the Clearview EcoPark, on Mondays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., provides an opportunity to explore, learn and discover while helping to keep the EcoPark Trail safe and maintained for all visitors. Volunteer hours will be available to all participants.
Strict COVID-19 safety protocols will be in place, including a capacity limit of 10 youth, screening, contact tracing, face-coverings and physical distancing.
The Youth Centre is now open to the public on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for drop-in and registered programming.
