Writer believes Trump aims to start a war

When it comes to Donald Trump, I believe the left wing has missed the point. I believe the right wing has also missed it.

The left wing has been consumed with his personality. I am not in favour of a man who thinks it is permissible to grab a woman or deride minorities, but this is a distraction.

The right wing has been consumed with the promises of jobs and greatness. This also is a distraction.

I believe his real aim is to initiate a war. He is a businessman and war is good business.

During a war people are unified and are willing to sacrifice their money and their rights. Tragically many, especially the young also sacrifice their lives. This makes the economy grow. There are more jobs because the demand for arms and everything connected with them is vastly increased. There are more jobs because the demand is greater but there are less able-bodied (read uninjured) people to do them.

We as a human race instinctively have difficulty with killing, hence the PTSD. The first step in creating an atmosphere ripe for war is to de-humanize a portion of the population and then inflame anger toward them. This first step has started. Donald Trump may or may not be personally prejudiced, but it is in his best financial interest to portray that he is.

The goal of a dishonest business person is to make money at any cost. War has a huge cost to the ordinary citizen, but it makes huge money for those in power. Let us not be distracted, left, right or centre but work together to prevent what would be a horrific event.
