County replaces works garage

A County of Simcoe garage on County Road 9 in Creemore was demolished Wednesday. Director of Transportation and Engineering, Christian Meile said a new 14,500 square foot 10-bay facility will be going up in its place in order to adequately provide county road maintenance services for area roads and to meet future operational requirements. The project is scheduled to be complete by the end of 2019, with some additional work in 2020.
