Talbot, Joy Isabel

TALBOT, Joy Isabel went to meet Jesus, her Lord and Saviour, on Thursday September 19, 2024, at 75 years old. Joy was a loving wife to Paul, and mom to Richard, Joseph, James, Adam, Charles, and Christina. She was also loved dearly by her daughters-in-law Carol, Shari, Sherry, Lori, Shannon, and son-in-law Jeffrey. As Gramma, Joy cherished 18 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She is survived by brothers Bill, Tom, Ken, Shawn, Peter, and sister Jenny, and their families. Joy always lived up to her name. She was often smiling, generous with hugs, and always had a song in her heart. Anyone who knew her saw her kind heart, gentle spirit and love for birds, animals, and flowers. Joy loved Jesus. She was a faithful member of Creemore Baptist Church where she attended for many years with her family. In recent years, she took part in Clearview Community Church services online. Thank you to Dr. Gandhi, St. Elizabeth nurses, and Campbell House staff and volunteers for their kindness and compassion for Joy and the family. There will be a Celebration of Life for Joy in the Spring of 2025. If desired, donations to the Canadian Lung Association or Campbell House would be appreciated.
