Happy Days
A new exhibit is opening at the Museum of Dufferin in time for Family Day weekend. Happy Days is a nostalgic journey through the cherished memories and playful moments of childhood. Different themes of childhood are explored through a broad timeframe exploring nostalgia, and play, including toys made in Orangeville at the Fisher Price Factory in the 1960s, a Lego wall, friendship bracelet making station, and “toys through the decades.” Admission is free but it is recommended that visitors reserve a timed-entry ticket in advance on Eventbrite by searching Happy Days. The exhibit runs Feb. 17 to Dec. 21. Right: Mary Corbett in East Garafraxa Township, 1916 (Museum of Dufferin Collection, P-4169).
