Righteous anger shines through

Re: It’s Donald! Duck! Poem by Tim Armour, The Creemore Echo, Jan. 31, page 5. And letter-to-the editor “Country left defenceless” published Feb. 7.

They say that Donald Trump only responds to strength. Well Tim, you gave him that in this poem. Thanks.

Your righteous anger shines through and should remind every Canadian to act. As Tim says, don’t give up our power or our land. Don’t bend or kowtow. This is straightforward advice, easily understood, which says more for the letter that followed as a critique. The letter, I can’t understand. Could someone explain it to me?

A description of a poet: Poets are all who love – who feel great truths – and tell them.

I would say you have insulted the wannabe ruler of the world – royally!

Billie Power,

Mulmur.
