Pop-up surprises at library on March Break

 In Community

Enjoying the Lego Challenge at the Clearview Public Library is the collaborative building effort of the Vantassel family.

This is one of the many informal interactive family play date activities that will be taking place over the March Break at the three branches in Creemore, New Lowell and Stayner.

To amuse and entertain all members of your family over this holiday period, we recommend checking out the library’s extensive collection of books, movies and games in a variety of multi- media formats.

Take-away activity kits, jigsaw puzzles and colouring sheets are available for quiet time enjoyment, either at the library or at home.

Organized formal programming with the children’s and teen librarians includes Jungle Jive Cooking (Tuesday), Jingle Jangle Jungle Band (Wednesday), Down in the Jungle (Thursday) and Make Your Own Travel Safety Kit (Friday and Saturday). Register at www.clearview.library. on.ca. Times and locations are posted in The Creemore Echo’s Community Calendar on Page 2, the library’s events page and Facebook site.

Pop-up surprises are a special innovation for this year’s March Break programming so please consider this your invitation to visit the Clearview Public Library from March 8-16.

Michele McKenzie is deputy CEO of Clearview Public Library.
