Glenda Boudreau proudly hands over her library duties by symbolically “passing the book” to Shannon Lougheed who will become the new full-time library assistant for technical services for the Clearview Public Library on Tuesday, June 3. As this position is based in the Creemore Branch, Lougheed will be the new point of contact for the same level of expertise and service that Glenda has provided her library patrons for over three decades. On Friday, May 30, a celebratory tea party will be held at 165 Library St. for Boudreau in recognition of 30 years of service and her retirement from the Creemore Branch of the Clearview Public Library. From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., all are invited to enjoy a piece of cake, sign the card and to wish her well on her next adventure in life.
