Every Day Matters: The GTHS Furball Gala returns to fuel 365 days of care

The Georgian Triangle Humane Society (GTHS) has announced the return of its signature fundraising gala, The Furball, on Oct. 18 at Craigleith Ski Club.

The Furball is more than an evening out. It is an opportunity to step into the heart of the GTHS mission and make an immediate difference for pets with nowhere else to turn. Every day of the year, the GTHS cares for pets who arrive hungry, hurt, abandoned, or in need of urgent care. The funds raised will fuel this constant, life-saving work, from a pet’s first meal to its last medical check, from a safe bed to the enrichment that helps them heal.

“The needs don’t stop, not for a single day,” says Karen Marsh, GTHS executive director. “The Furball allows us to keep saying ‘yes’ to pets in crisis and to provide them with the shelter, medical care, and love they deserve. It is an evening that directly translates into lives saved.”

Guests will enjoy an extraordinary night featuring a specially prepared menu, live entertainment, and a celebration of community impact.

The event will include philanthro- tainment by Layne the Auctionista; live music and DJ; auctions and a ‘Golden Ticket’ draw; curated cocktail hour and dinner.

Tickets cost $250 per person, available at gths.ca/furball-soiree.
