Memorial bench dedicated to Ben Martin

A group of volunteers with New Lowell Minor Baseball Association came together to raise funds through donations to have a memorial bench dedicated to Ben Martin installed at the New Lowell Recreation Park along County Road 9.

The bench was installed on August 19 in the northwest region of Diamond 1 between the diamond and the walking path.

The bench is to commemorate former New Lowell Knight Minor Baseball Player and Minor Baseball Coach, Ben Martin. In June this past year, Ben was posthumously inducted into the Clearview Township Hall of Fame.

The volunteers and the family would like to thank everyone for their donation and involvement with the installation of the memorial bench.
