Police investigate shooting

Huronia west OPP is investigating a shooting in Clearview Township.

At about 10 a.m. on August 15, officers responded to a shooting on a property on 15/16 Sideroad near Highway 26. Upon arrival, officers located one individual who had sustained a gunshot wound. The individual was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Investigators believe the suspects fled the scene in a blue Volkswagen sedan prior to police arrival.

This investigation remains ongoing by the Huronia West OPP Crime Unit under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch.
