Creemore’s Terry Fox Run raises $7,000, donations still welcome

 In Community

The spirit of community and determination was on full display this past weekend as Creemore hosted the 45th Anniversary Terry Fox Run/ Walk/Cycle.

Nearly 50 participants came together to honour Terry’s legacy and raise funds for cancer research, bringing in over $7,000 so far – and donations are still being accepted.

A special thanks goes out to the local school kids, whose enthusiasm and fundraising efforts may help Creemore surpass last year’s total. Their involvement truly reflects Terry’s dream of inspiring young people to make a difference.

The event wouldn’t have been possible without the generous support of local businesses, who donated prizes and gifts, as well as the dedicated volunteers and community members who made the day a success.

There’s still time to contribute and help Creemore break its record! Donations can be made online at run. terryfox.ca/92847 directly through local fundraising initiatives.
