Reinharts supports new hospital fund
The Collingwood General and Marine Hospital (CGMH) Foundation has received a $250,000 donation from Reinhart Foods, in support of the Tomorrow’s Hospital Campaign.
Reinhart Foods, based in Stayner for over 125 years, has been a steadfast supporter of CGMH since 1986. Over the years, their contributions have helped fund vital medical equipment and technology, directly impacting patient care across the region.
This latest gift will support the development of CGMH’s future facility, designed to meet the growing needs of more than 70,000 residents and over three million annual visitors. The new hospital will feature expanded services, modern infrastructure, and a patient-centred design to better serve the entire South Georgian Bay community.
“We are incredibly proud to be part of this campaign,” said Scott and Jeff Singer, co-presidents of Reinhart Foods. “Our father, Tom, has always emphasized the importance of investing in our community and we are passionate that everyone in the South Georgian Bay region should have access to first class local healthcare. We encourage all local businesses to support the Tomorrow’s Hospital Campaign.”
Sandra Taylor, CGMH Foundation president and CEO, added, “We are so grateful to Reinhart Foods for their continued generosity and commitment to our hospital, bringing us one step closer to building the hospital that South Georgian Bay needs and deserves.”
The Tomorrow’s Hospital Campaign aims to raise over $100 million to bring this vision to life.
