Density clashes with character of the village
Editor:
Building 124 residential units in a rezoned property on County Road 9 is deeply concerning.
Creating so many new units will have an environmental impact from the higher population and loss of green space.
We also don’t have proper transit, so more parking spaces will be needed.
This high density clashes with the town’s character.
In Creemore, as well as Stayner, there have already been several new housing developments.
They will need more public services and infrastructure, including emergency services and policing.
I question if the town can meet these higher demands.
Margaret-Hope Miceli,
