Listening to that gut feeling

We’ve all heard of the five senses – sight, sound, smell, taste, and touch – but did you know you also have access to extrasensory perceptions known as clairs?

Clairs refer to intuitive or psychic abilities that allow someone to perceive information beyond their physical senses.
Clair senses include clairvoyance (clear seeing), clairaudience (clear hearing), clairsentience (clear feeling), and claircognizance (clear knowing). Simply put, clairs help you tune into subtle energy that “speaks” in different ways to different people.

The word clair comes from the French word for “clear,” referring to the different ways intuitive information can be received or perceived.

You can think of the clairs like radio frequencies; the information is always around us, and developing your clairs is about learning how to tune in and interpret what you receive.

Many of us have experienced clairsentience or clear feeling when we have a “gut feeling” – an inner knowing that tells you something is right, wrong, or feels off. Anyone can develop their clairs by becoming more aware of subtle intuitive signals and learning to trust and understand them.

As an energy medicine practitioner I have spent many years attuning my clairs via meditation and a deep trust in something greater than what I can see and hear. These clairs help me sense what others might not look for when it comes to mental, emotional, physical and spiritual ailments. A powerful healing practice I engage in is connecting to the unseen worlds via channelling.

Channelling is the process of getting out of your own way so you can receive non-physical information via clairs and transform it into something tangible that can guide, create or heal. Many artists, athletes and masters experience being in “the flow” when creating/performing from a place beyond their conscious mind. This is a form of channelling.

When I offer energy medicine sessions I channel subtle healing energy.

When I read someone’s Akashic records I channel the Akashic Record Keepers – the energetic guardians of the Akashic field. The Akashic field is a high vibrational non-physical “library” that holds the memories, lessons, and purposes of every soul in all their lifetimes. It’s a field of pure love and is devoid of judgement. The term akasha comes from Sanskrit and means ether or astral light. It is considered the fifth element in many spiritual traditions and can also go by the name Hall of Records, or Tree/Book of Life. In the Akashic field I channel soul aligned answers to questions such as “what’s my soul purpose?” or “what am I meant to learn from my relationship with X?” or “what is the emotional/spiritual root of the physical condition I am currently experiencing?” The benefits of accessing the Akasha include seeing yourself from a soul-aligned, non-judgemental perspective; and connecting time and space in ways that allows for more ease and peace in this lifetime. In my years of Akashic record reading I have discovered that many present day issues have past life (karmic) connections. When we enter the Akashic field we are gifted deep, loving soul informed awareness as well as practical ways to anchor new, helpful information now. This work has helped me foster a deeper connection to universal wisdom and has offered meaningful transformation when conventional options left me unfulfilled. I offer these energetic modalities as a way to support others in realizing their full potential, and to reestablish spiritual connection beyond sight, sound and touch.
