9U Cardinals sit 4-4 , take on Mansfield August 1

The 9U Cardinals gave it their all in a close loss to Everett.

Short on players and without a complete outfield, they still managed to hold them to a one run win.

Adair McIntosh Shepley led the team with three hits, including an impressive double to left field, and secured all three outs in the first inning.

Everett Kaden was fire on the bat as well, hitting a double in the second inning.

Seth Rose battled through a tough injury but stayed in the game going on to get two big hits for his team.

With two games remaining in the regular season the Cardinals are 4-4 and looking to get back in the win column against Mansfield on August 1.
